This was my husband's and my first cruise, and I fear it has spoiled us for other cruises. It was that wonderful!
The ship was laid out well- important for me, since I have some mobility issues. We were conveniently close to a bank of elevators, so it was easy to go up a few decks to get to a more comfortable place to move fore and aft.
We had a basic ocean-view cabin, which I loved. Yes, it was compact, but very comfortable; the mattress was excellent, and the bathroom very well designed indeed; I've been in hotels with bathrooms three times the size that were less comfortable to use.
Compact but very well-designed and laid out, especially the bathroom.
We rented a car, and went to Green Gables (Of course, I am such a girl sometimes!), then meandered around the island and saw most of it. Such fun!
We finished up by having a PEI meal of mussel and lobster chowder, with a baked PEI potato, right on the dock before re-boarding. A perfect end to a great day!
