We chose this ship for the ports we wanted to see. We really enjoyed it and had a great Holiday. However I would not choose such a large ship again. Embarkation was very easy as was disembarkation at ports and on our final day. They could show airlines a thing or two. With over 4,000 guests it's just too big and way too busy. Deck space is limited due to the very large pool and flume area and there are no quiet promenade decks to walk around due to all outside cabins having a balcony. I really missed this.

That said if you have kids its really ideal. They have the flumes and water activities etc and it was a real pleasure to see them having so much fun rather than on their computers!! The food was really excellent and the choice amazing. The beef in every restaurant was to die for. We didn't use the ones with a surcharge. My biggest issue was the cost of drinks. Every drink has 18% service on it plus 10%vat. service charged even if you went to the bar to buy them yourself. It really took the edge off the holiday. If you buy the drinks package bear in mind you have to buy it for everyone in the cabin whether they drink alcohol or not. Its not poss just to buy for one person.

I have noticed that a lot of things that used to be free are now being charged for. Even things had a charge have significantky increased in price. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had an inside cabin which was fine for all the time we were in it. Beds were comfy. Whilst the toilet shower set up was fine for us I can see why there has been some negative comments..
