I read the previous reviews with a sinking feeling in my stomach. To have a 50% overall good rating on a cruise that is certainly not cheap made me anxious. However, now that I've returned from that cruise I have to say that some people would complain about paying taxes on their megamillion dollar lotto win. Yes, maybe all the staff didn't speak perfect English. Yes, there wasn't much to do at night. We had over 20 children (out of 98 passengers) on board, and that isn't counting the college age crowd. This is not a ship ideally suited to children, yet the staff went out of their way to entertain and educate. Food for the most part was delicious, staff always had a smile, naturalists were incredible. The stateroom isn't like those on the luxury Silverseas lines, but it's a very small ship. This is a one-of-a-kind vacation and I would encourage anyone to go.

Veranda Suite

Cabin VR

Nice size cabin, large shower, typical cruise sized bathroom. Small balcony but it was worth every penny.
