We took the carnival breeze for 8 nights to Eastern Caribbean. We were told by staff that there was over 4,700 passengers on this cruise. The cabin was good and had all what we needed, the cabin staff were great.
The dining experience was appalling! We had anytime dining and on several occasions were given a buzzer to wait for a table sometimes waiting over a hour to be seated for a table of two. Some people who needed larger tables were waiting past 1.5 hrs. The wait on the dress night was ridiculous when addressing the matre de I was informed it was a busy night because it was a dress night. I did point out to him that they knew it would be a formal night before the ship even left Miami, therefore should have been able to cope with the demand. Other couples that had small children were told to eat in the buffet if they didn't want to wait.
Once we finally got into the dining room the wait staff were excellent and the food was good. On other cruise lines (not carnival) we had anytime dining and we could call and reserve a table on the day if they were busy you were told then and arrangements made for a suitable time. This way there is not people stood outside the dining room with buzzers waiting for tables. For any food regardless to what, where or when you wanted it there was ques everywhere.
We had inside cabin which was good with all that we needed
