Sailed of Freedom of Seas for,our first cruise. Had a deluxe balcony cabin. Plenty of room for the two,of us with ample storage. There was room under the bed to,store 2 full size suitcases and decent closet space. Bathroom was small, as expected. A person of size would struggle, with the shower. Tv selection poor. Food overall just fair. Bland and repetitive. Also buffet closed at 9PM. IF,you wanted a late meal you had to go promenade cafe with simple, sandwiches. I thought cruises had food late at night, and we prefer to eat late. Stateroom attendant very good, serviced room twice a day with nightly towel animals. Too much emphasis patrons to sell extras such as beverage packages and shopping "deals". Ship nice, clean and staff overall pleasant. Good selection of,excursions and did enjoy those we selected. Extras added up. Most of tv dedicated to their shopping activities.
Stops in Haiti and Jamaica were in their own private areas. Walled, off from rest of,Island so more, like,a larger shopping area extension of ships but activities provided were great.
Had disembarkation at end down to a science. Bit early if on upper decks, but fast and efficient.
Nice cabin, plenty of room and storage, good lighting, nice balcony. Slept well, bed comfortable, and no,noise from hallway. Shower would be a problem for person of size. Room underbed for large suitcases,,nice couch. A note, the curtain in the pictures between the bed and sofa does not close off one, part of room, decorative so, light from sofa area still reaches bed .
Convenient, easy in and out for parking with efficient luggage drop, off and helpful porters at end.
