We fit into the 55+ demographic and the cruise was just our cup of tea. We've only done one Viking river cruise and a couple of Carnival cruises with the grandkids so we're not very experienced cruisers, but we feel this set the bar very high for any others we might take.

Ship was very well laid out. Open but cozy. Never seemed like we were around 900 souls. Food was excellent and service was the same. Entertainment (guitar, pianist and classical trio) was enjoyable but not overdone and set a relaxing tone around the ship.

Cabins were roomy, well appointed and well maintained. Bathrooms were over the top and roomy enough for 2.
