This is the perfect itinerary for anyone looking to experience the British Isles. Our ship experience was good, with the decor, stateroom and food living up to expectations from Princess. Our only issues revolved around the staff, at times the service was not up to Princess standards. A key exception was the Waiter and Assistant Waiter (Gene and Jariel) that we found on our third night at sea. They were truly exceptional and made our dining experiences each night very special. If you are sailing on the Royal Princess book anytime dining and ask for table 210 in the Concerto Dining Room.

The best part of our cruise was the stops. We arranged all of our own tours and had exceptional times. The tours that stand out are:

- Cobh Ireland - we booked an all day private car tour for 4 adults. We greeted by Paul our driver with a sign in his hand and smile on his face. He shared Irish Tales, History, Folklore and generally entertaining stories as he took us from Cobh, to Blarney Castle, to Kinsale and the Wild Atlantic Way. We spent 8 hours together and there was not a dull moment. We would highly recommend Jack's tour and Paul our driver in particular. When we compared the cost of the tour with Jack vs. a private car was significantly lower than anything offered on board our ship. If you are looking to kiss the Blarney Stone this is the best way to get there, just make sure you book your entrance into the Castle ahead of time so you can beat the lines.
