We were lucky enough to book the pinnacle suite for a cruise to the caribbean. I am leaving this review because it is a once in a lifetime vacation and we really did not find many reviews of this room before we went. Most people we met on the cruise were curious as to what was behind those beautiful doors, so I will go into a little more detail on that, now on with the review of the rest of the cruise. We took the shuttle from the hotel to the dock and check in was quick and pleasant. We were then taken upstairs to board but had to wait about a half hour because they could not get everyone off the ship. This was the only time I was not happy with the personnel on the ship. The woman that seated people waiting to board was trying to be entertaining (?) but she was abrupt and a little rude to us and to others. She was told we were in the pinnacle sure and she turned to all who were seated and asked loudly, "what did you do to get that room?", totally inappropriate. I did call her over and told her that we saved many years for a vacation and a gift for my husband , (this was our second vacation in 20 years, and I thought we deserved it!!)

We were then escorted to the suite and met the stewards and staff at neptune. Who then gave us lessons on how to use all the gadgets in the room! We enjoyed the snacks that were there and off to lunch.

Penthouse Verandah Suite

Cabin PS

The suite is beautiful, enough room and supplies (china and crystal) to entertain a huge group. We did not have any parties and did not use any of the beautiful stemware or the dining table (it was just used to put our tea and coffee on)

We were probably the cleanest people on the ship. We had a small kitchen, with sink. A guest bathroom, another sink. The ensuite with 2 sinks, a shower, a jetted tub plus the toilet room with another sink. Also a hot tub on the veranda.

The bedroom is spacious ( bigger than the one at home) with a desk and vanity. The en suite was big and beautiful with 3 huge closets and a full length mirror. The shower was tiny but had sprays coming from all angles, not until the last day did we figure out the one on the bottom which was just for your feet!

We also had a butlers kitchen, with a huge refrigerator, coffee maker, china, coffee, tea, and a commercial microwave (which is scary for heating up your tea, it sounds like a jet taking off)

The living room was comfortable and had a pull down bed if you travel with children. We did not use that room either. We did not use most of the room because we had a huge veranda, that was the best part of the cruise. And that is what we paid for, peace and quiet, beautiful scenery, perfect weather and privacy . We wanted and needed relaxation, and that is what we got! Our stewards and the staff at neptune treated us wonderfully.
