This was our first time cruising with Celebrity, but not new to cruising, we have done over 20 plus cruises with Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Norwegian. We picked this cruise because of it being close to home, great time of the year to go to Bermuda, the kids being out of school and everyone wanted to try Celebrity for the first time.

The cruise was a bit disappointing in a lot of areas, the biggest one being the kids club and the food. So if you are traveling with kids on the Summit I would suggest you read as many reviews as you can. This ship does not offer very much for the ages 13 to 17 year olds. We traveled with 4 kids ages, 3 to 16. Two of our kids ages 15 and 17 spent most of their time walking around the ship with nothing to do almost everyday and the camp counselor they had was not very welcoming or had very much to offer for that age group. The other two kids ages 3 and 11 did even want to go back after the first day.

So we felt like if the Summit did not have very much to offer for the kids to do like the other ships offer, the least they could have done was to have a great kids camp with lots of challenging activities for all ages to be involved in and they didn't.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 4

Cabin attendant was very attentive and kept the cabin very clean.

Cabin appearance, had rust all around the shower bottom, carpet and curtains, worn.
