Flew in to San Juan from Atlanta, taxi rates are flat rates to and from Hotels and sites in and around San Juan. Taxi drivers will scare even most experienced with the aggressive driving techniques.

Caribe Hilton (B rating)

I resort hotel with a mix of vacationers and conferences going on at the same time. Room was nice and bed was comfortable and patio over looked the garden area. Grounds are nice with great view of coast line and with a good pool and beach area. Had some peacocks and birds in the courtyard that came right up to people looking for some handouts, Peacocks screeched in the mornings was somewhat annoying. Food choices are expensive and limited around property. Ate at a restaurant (Mexican) beside Hilton with good patio view of island bridge and road south towards airport, blue lights at a distance where numerous threw out the area. Caribe is a good place to stay for two or three days for relaxing.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Cabin is worn and bed needs replacing, some days bathroom smelled of urine and other days no smell. Little on no breeze on balcony was a steel plate and round hole cut out, loud groups from other balconies could be annoying. Great location for elevator but most activities are in the rear of ship.
