Best vacation, I loved everything about this cruise. The crew and rooms were amazing, just the right size and attention to detail was just right. The crew was very attentive and friendly, working hard and smiling all the time. The tours were very exciting and informative. The food was excellent and served in great style. If you are over 40 and want a vacation without all the crowds of the large ship, this is the way to go. I can hardly wait for my next Viking Cruise. I finally got to go to Switzerland and it was everything I thought it would be and more. The Viking tour guides were great, they all knew so much about their areas. The trip to Mt Titlis was so exciting, it snowed all the way and it was great going up the mountain watching the snow. We went to so many great places like the Black Forest, Strasbourg, Heidelberg, Koblenz, Cologne and the Netherlands. This wasn't just fun, it was very educational. Watching the Castles coming down the Rhine was one of my favorite parts. I look at the pictures we took and get excited all over again. The trip was a 60th birthday present to myself and it was worth every penny, I loved every minute.

Basel

We spent two days in Lucrene and had an amazing time. Then we took the bus to Basel to embark on the ship. We did not really see the city.
