Cruising has become one of my all time favorite things to do. I, along with my BFF, Pam had planned this cruise to celebrate of 50th Birthday on the Sea; however she was not able to attend; however that did not stop me. I decided to go at it alone.

Friday, April 24th - Southwest flight was okay. I sat in the middle of two strangers. They both seen uptight at first but eventually loosen up. I really do not like the middle seat because I have to use the restroom frequently; but somehow I made it without a book, cell, laptop, or bathromm break to Orlando International Airport; but you should have seen me getting off that plane. I made a mad rush to the restroom before getting my bags. The light itself was cool. It was my first time on Southwest. It landed on time in Orlando and the directions to baggage claim were fairly easy; however the shock came when I asked a taxi to take me to Cocoa, Florida and then realize it was an hour away. (Fare $120.00). It was a good thing I went to the bathroom earlier because I almost "peed" in my pants. I thought I would diee with that quote. I am usually a better planner; however I will do even more research in the future when it comes to booking a hotel in unfamiliar territory.

The Holiday Inn in Cocoa was nice and the staff was friendly. I even asked how much would they charge me to check in early because I was beat and hurt over that fare; but she allowed me to go to my room without an extrea charge and this really helped with my hurt feelings and pocket. I walked to a nearly convenience store and McDonald's for dinner, completed my homework, and rested for my cruise. It was now Saturday morning. I was restless, got up early, ate breakfast and went downstairs to wait for my ride that was there waiting on me. He was a very friendly guy and did not mind stopping me by a dollar store to purchase drinks and other small goodies. He got me to cruise port in great time.

Cabin Review

Interior

The cabin was clean and the stewards were great. I had no problem with the cabin at all.
