Good: nice staff for the most part, great fitness center, decent food.
Bad: I felt like our ship had a lot of amenites but we were charged for nearly all of them. If you didn't get the drink package the prices per drink we an absolute rip-off. I realize there is going to be some markup but $7 for a basic light beer is ridiculous. Also, the internet package was way too high in cost; I am glad we didn't do it. I didn't appreciate the shore excursions being contracted out to random companies. So out of $300, they make $200 and you make $100? Cut out the middle man to keep prices down. The service charge per guest is high as well. I don't need my room cleaned twice a day so give people the option to forgo a bi-daily cleaning in efforts to lower the cost for the consumer.
Next, for the size of the ship, the swimming pools should be much larger and the art gallery is a waste of space because few people go to it. Speaking off, I took a dip in the adult area pool and ended up getting erythrasma (a fungal infection) in my armpits probably due to lack of chlorine. Finally, I was very upset on how we gave all go our flght information to Norwegian ahead of time during the online check-in but then we were supposed to contact again to take advantage of the shuttle to get a free ride to the ship/hotel. Who wouldn't want a free ride from the airport?! We ended up paying for a cab since we didn't provide the flight information on time to Norwegian AGAIN. Moreover, when we disembarked, Norwegian did not provide a free shuttle to get us back to the airport. Norwegian needs to act like they care about their guests the whole way through, not just while we are spending money on the ship. Overall, I felt as though we were "nickel and dimed" too much and too often.
