This was our third time cruising on the Magic and have never been disappointed. We stayed in a balcony room on the lido deck. The amount of activities and shows were a bit disappointing. In years passed, there were so many different types of activities that you had to choose one or the other. This time we had times that there was nothing to do unless you wanted to go fight the pool area. I was also disappointed with the shows. Well, the shows were great, the times were not. The welcome aboard show was at 730. Anytime there was one show only, it was too crowded to get a seat. I think all shows should have two times to comfortably enjoy the show.

Our cabin steward, Tom, was excellent! My son and our friends daughter requested that he not kill the monkey (towel animal). By the time we left, we had a zoo! Speaking of the kids, they are at an age where they didn't want to go to camp ocean. My son does not care for the games but he said you have to play even if you don't want to. First day was hula hoop, get it.

Despite these little things, we had a great time. These were not make or break issues to us. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Dad really liked all the trivia games. He has his own fleet of gold ships to dust! Or should I say mom does!

The cabin was great. We had a connecting room with my parents and that was convenient. We were on the lido deck and that was convenient too. It was quiet even when the deck party was going on at night.
