This was my grandsons 13th birthday present from me. I had told him how wonderful being on a cruise ship was. Great food, lots of activities, little towel animals in the room. The Norwegian Sun was such a disappointment. The ship is old, and it shows - lots of wasted space.

The food was awful, same thing day after day. In the morning buffet, by the time you found a place to sit, your food was cold.

The customer service desk people were rude. I stood in line waiting to ask a question, only to be told, I stood in the wrong line and would have to go to the other end of the counter and start my wait all over again - this happened more than once. Half the staff didn't understand what you were saying if you spoke English

Balcony

Cabin BD

The room was cold, no heat - had to get more blankets. They put two twin beds instead of one single and your head hit the lights that would normally be on the side of the bed. In the middle of the night your pillow would hit the light switch and turn on the lights. Room was clean, bed & pillows were comfortable. Our room was a starboard balcony and was great to have that view.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

We had a starboard balcony and a great view of Glacier Bay. Breathtaking!
