Sail Date: May 2015

High waters prevented lif to make it to bucharest. We sailed on aegir. The cruise and the crew couldn't have been better. There was a little internet trouble the 1st couple of days, but after that smooth sailing. It was our first cruise, and we so much more liked the idea of seeing something other than water while sailing. We passed and visited many quaint villages. The tours were very well put together, to the point of getting to spend a few hours with a family. We sipped their brandy, ate their food and just visited. At first i thought this would be awkward, but it turned out to be on of the highlights.

The crew bent over backwards to be accommodating. The cleaning staff was efficient, friendly and always met us with a smile. The wait staff in the dining and bar area, were terrific. The food was all delicious. The open seating policy, allowed us to meet some interesting people.

This is definitely not our last viking river cruise.
