Me and my wife very much enjoyed this cruise. No major complaints. I knocked off one star because we found food in the main dining room to unremarkable most nights and, as all who have noted agree, the activities were monotonous and "enrichment activities" were exclusively focused on art for sale, wrinkle and spa treatments for sale, and shopping (I HATE the word tanzanite!).
But, the ship is beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed the main promenade area. I like to sit, relax and read during days at sea and be able to get a decent cup of coffee and pastry on occasion - the Promendade Cafe met the need. We found we preferred the many, varied, and changing international menu choices at Jade, which is one section in the Windjammer Cafe. The currys they had at lunch and dinner were very delicious. We did not find the choices at Windjammer to be monotonous. The sushi was sliced too thin - that was are biggest gripe. We enjoyed all the shows; the ice show is a good gee whiz for being on a ship.
And as we have found on all six cruises we have been on (four different cruise lines), the crew members who serve guests are a very friendly and and interesting international group - part of what we love about cruising is meeting crew members from all over the world. Overall a very good value. We look forward to another Royal Caribbean cruise and will likely take another cruise on the Independence of the Seas.
A nice beach area, well put together. The zip line is expensive but when you see all that went into constructing and the quality of the equipment and emphasis on safety, it makes the cost easier to accept. Nice relaxing day.
Visited the national museum - small but well done. Nice island, felt very safe. Easy to walk around but probably would have enjoyed more if we had taken an excursion around the islands.
