Having been with Holland America P&0 and Thomson, we thought to give NCL a try even though it was the biggest ship to date we have been on it was a truly wonderful cruise just not long enough!! from start to finish the food , staff, and the entertainment was first class. It started with embarkation which was fast and funny this guy had a sense of humour and once on board the staff made us so welcome looking like lost souls we were told and shown to reserve all the shows (which we have never had to do before) which we did .

we never used the speciality restaurants because the food in the Manhattan was excellent and with a live band a added plus, numerous bars our favourite turned out to be the Maltings bar with Andy the waiter very helpful and humorous . A good laugh is the ice bar cost $20 but with 3 drinks and a great wee crowd worth every penny. Like I say the entertainment on board just got better each night top 2 burn the floor and the superb Spiegel tent, the one we missed was howl at the moon full every time maybe next time and there will certainly will be a next time especially when we had free drinks a huge added bonus.

We had a balcony the room is good just the toilet and shower is strange but obviously after a few concerns they have put a Tada curtain in place just in case one gets embarrassed!!.I personally had a great time on the slides and the ports of call very good loved Monte Carlo even if it did cost me a few bob in Casino Square. A great time was had by all just sad we had to leave
