When we booked this cruise, was not quite sure what to expect. Although we have had numerous cruises on other ships this was our first time on a smaller, luxury ship and was worried about the entertainment and activities. Things turned out fine for the most part.

The trip was magnificent. We mainly cruised through the fjords where the views were spectacular. We have done Alaska before with all the excursions -landing on a glacier, boat and hiking tours, etc. Did couple of self tours -Mendenhall glacier and tramway in Juneau. Enjoyed Sitka National Park with all its totem poles along the walk. Hoonah and Wrangell were alright but not much there. It was too early for salmon runs so they and bears were not out. Did not go to zoo to see bears or go fishing or crabbing, not my wife's thing. Got to see Buchart Gardens again in Victoria, a dream of ours.

They had four wonderful singers who made up most of the entertainment. They not only were excellent singers, but their routines, their dancing and their facial expressions to go along with the routines was grand. Other than the large ship shows, these were up close and personal which really enhanced the atmosphere. Not only that, but they intermingled with the guests during the trip. There was also a good comedian, magician and string quartet that provided good entertainment.
