Embarkation was very good , ship looks very dated , cabin small and poor wardrobe and cupboard space . Various toilets closed for several days and in general toilets not cleaned , only cheap paper towels to dry you hands . Bar service was very poor , having to stand waiting to get drinks and then being served with staff with attitude . when you could find a waiter you had to wait sometime for your drink , after making several complaints they did try and put more waiters at bars . Went into the star lounge which ended up like a working mans club , with families sitting in the same seats all the time and letting children run riot . When approached, the Service desk told me " children are allowed till 1.ooam ". Grannies playing games with children while band were playing and allowing children to run all over the dance area . People fighting to get drinks at bars . Problems with sun beds and people nearly coming to blows . This was a Butlins on the sea holiday , of which I do not want . I will be going back to Celebrity Cruises next time . On the plus side the stateroom attendant was excellent and so were the welcoming staff at the Windjammer. Food at lunch time was repetitive in windjammer , but breakfast was good .Main dining room was only half full , food was Ok . I feel sorry for most of the staff because obviously Royal Caribbean have cut down on staff . If you want a Granny booze cruise this is for you . Its certainly not for me .
