I joined friends on this voyage on Eclipse and I have to say that I was disappointed overall by the experience.

In the past I have travelled on QM2 in both Grills and Britannia restaurant so my expectations of Celebrity were high. The ship was just out of re fit so was all clean and bright. Check in was speedy and soon on board fighting for a table and food in the self service buffet. I was amazed just how busy it was and then I realised that Eclipse is smaller than QM2 but carries an awful lot more passengers.

My room was OK - a tad on the tight side I would say if two were/are travelling. Very little wardrobe space but the bathroom is excellent - and I loved the walk in shower and terrific water pressure and always masses of hot water. Read more
