As virgin cruisers we didn't really think it would be our 'thing' as we don't like to be organised and prefer to do our own thing, never the less we thought we'd give it a whirl! It was fantastic from start to finish! We can not speak highly enough of all the staff, nothing was too much trouble, all ranks spoke when passing by and all appeared to be happy in their roles. The food was superb, Grand Pacific for formal dinning (including breakfast) and several other restaurants for more casual dinning, all in addition to the buffet which we really enjoyed for breakfast and lunch as you can eat alfresco at the aft and enjoy the fabulous views as the boat arrives/depart from port. We did try one of the speciality restaurants (Italian) but felt the service here was too slow and quality didn't warrant a supplement, we the included restaurants were better. Tried to book Cagneys (steakhouse) but was fully booked. We had the unlimited drinks package which I wouldn't sail without (otherwise drinks are expensive). We had an outside cabin, plenty of room with a large porthole, it was kept spotless by our steward. Towel for sunbathing were provided and changeable daily if required. The embarking/disembarking was very quick and efficient allowing maximum time in ports. I had a treatment in the spa which was the usual price to home and excellent standard. Has a look in the gym which was spacious and well equipped. Cant comment on arranged shore excursions as we did our own thing including hiring a moped in Dubrovnik and Split (taxis also easily available at very reasonable costs). Didnt find time for the activities and shows as only had a week which was too short! Loved every minute!
Roomy, immaculate, loved the large window.
Got the river boat from port to St marks Square 15 euro return. Beautiful city was on my dream list to visit and so glad I did it by cruise as 6 hours was enough.
Amazing beautiful old time. Cant be missed. Nice little cove for swimming too! Moped hire straight opposite port for 30 euro a day or taxi easily available.
Not one of the best resorts in turkey but still enjoyable. Don't be put off by the locals want to entice you into their shops, just smile and say no thanks.
Also got a moped here for 30 euro which enable us to go towards the national park, vehicle are not allowed in here though but on the edge of the park was a beautiful bay with crystal clear water. Traffic busy and road system not easy however so have your wits about you. You don't really need transport as the port is right in the center of the town which is very pretty with an walled old town.
