Enjoyed the Solstice from start to finish! Beautiful ship with nice layout, always found a place to sit in dining areas, theater, and lounges. No surprise, food was wonderful in each venue we experienced. Staff was polite in answering questions about menu and special requests - - usually for another plate of something we enjoyed!

Stayed in Bellevue for a couple of days before the cruise and had a rental car. National provides a shuttle from the downtown return location, which was nice and efficient to arrive at the port without any hassle.

Having been to Alaska several times in the past, we only booked excursions in Juneau and Skagway. Mendenhall Glacier and the Gardens tour in Juneau was a treat, and I would highly recommend. The White Pass train tour was very beautiful and quite informational, with friendly guides narrating throughout the tour. Our weather on this cruise was unbelievable for Seattle and the ports in Alaska. Victoria was the only gray day, and we were happy to stay on the ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

Nice cabin with plenty of storage for all clothing, coats, shoes etc. Bathroom area had plenty of space to unpack things for the week. Closet was in a location near the couch, made it a little snug. Bed was comfortable and hall areas were quiet - - except for the people who must've had an early meeting at 6a, as they let the door slam every day. It was our "wake up" call!
