Having never cruised before, this is a true review. The ship was wonderful. It had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. My wife and I did 7 nights on the Freedom and loved every night of it. The only two complaints that we had:

1. They closed the top Serenity Decks way to early. My wife and I are nights owls and we wanted to hot tub under the stars....not so much.

2. We NEVER ate at the restaurant....why? The first night we went to the main restaurant and asked for our table. We were taken right to it and found people already sitting at it. We asked if we had the right table and they said we did, we were to share..... Not saying that I am so stuck up that I would share a dinner table with 100% complete strangers....but for the money that I put down on the cruise, I expected more. The table was no bigger than my breakfast table at home and the people that were already eating had their items spread across the entire table, acting just as surprised as we were. My wife and I walked out and never went back in. We were more than content with the contact buffet on deck 9.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Floor 10, first room on the right side. It was great, except for the weight room....above you....with people working out...a lot. Bea ready to hear quite a bit of rumble when trying to sleep and the weight/work out room right above you. It was quite loud. Otherwise, it was great. The door to the outside was not loud, but you could hear it when people would visit the outside deck 10 area.
