This was our first cruise on NCL, so we really didn't know what to expect. We had 16 folks in our party (8 adults, and 8 kids with the age range of 4-13). Previous cruises were on Carnival and Disney. Let's begin!
Embarkation:
Easy process, even with the 16 of us. Was expecting a little more fanfare from the crew when boarding, but I didn't mind too much (more concerned with 'washy washy', but we'll get to that in a bit). Made our way up to Deck 15 for lunch... smooth process overall. Luggage arrived in a timely manner (gold star for that, considering that on other cruises it took a longer period of time to get our luggage. Maybe we were lucky?). Grade: A
The cabin was nice. Nothing crazy special, but a nice porthole and decent layout. It was a bit tight b/t the closet and the bed. Bathroom was nice. Room well kept. Unfortunately, we were on the fifth floor, mid, and there must have been a restaurant or storage or SOMETHING going on above us, for there was a lot of pots, pans, and stuff rolling around on the floor. Grade: B+ (mostly because of noise)
