Had a lovely stay in Barcelona. Boarding the ship was quite easy - staff very friendly and helpful. Before you board the ship there is a shop where you can buy alcohol. We thought it would be nice to have a couple of bottles of wine in our room. There was nothing to say this was not allowed and we were obviously about to board. We were treated like criminals for daring to bring two bottles of wine and a bottle of sangria on board. Not a good start. The food was not very nice. We actually paid to go to two of the restaurants on board. While eating a meal in the Windjammer you are pestered by the staff one after the other. Not their fault - obviously they are told to do it. Every mouthful of food someone is there asking you how you are where you are going bla bla bla. There is nothing to do much in the evenings except to spend money KACHING. Drinks very expensive. Shops expensive. Not very subtle extortion every move you make Kaching. When you get off the ship if you haven't paid for trips through them you are treated like a second class citizen. There is no information - although its easy and a lot cheaper to find your own way around once you get off. Photographers follow you everywhere clicking away even when you are eating. I could go on but won't bore you any more.
