I was a little skeptical about traveling on an older ship - but chose Grandeur of the seas because the port is very easy to get to.
Check in was a breeze and we were on board very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to see how good the ship looks. For it's age - I thought it looked really nice. Much more modern than I had expected and very clean.
The cabins were okay - not the most modern - but I wasn't expecting much. My two complaints about the cabin would have to be the horribly small shower with the even worse shower curtain and the mattress which could have been a lot more comfortable. Room attendant was friendly and efficient.
Port was easy to get to and parking was a breeze. One note for those with mobility issues... the gangplank getting onto the ship is very long and a bit steeper than most.
