I have only been on two RCL cruises both round the med. So when I give my opinion I can only compare the Epic to them. Both on Adventure of the Seas.

First off getting on the ship was much easier than RCL and took around 25 mins tops.

Disappointed we didn't get some fresh lemon juice like RCL but it came later.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Cabin B3

Cabin was a great layout. As you entered the room the toilet was on the left and the shower was on the right. This whole section could be sealed off with a heavy curtain too for those a bit shy in front of their room mates. Then beyond that you had a large wardrobe to your left and a wooden unit TV, mini bar etc to your right. The double bed was at the rear of the room beyond everything else so that part of the room was for sleeping etc. ONLY. Compared to RCL cabins I had previously stayed in this was much better as on RCL the bed was in the middle of the rooms. So if one person wanted a snooze the other person would constantly annoy them when drying their hair or getting a shower or changed as they had to walk past or sit on the bed. This was totally avoided on the Epic and overall we had great sleep time and felt much more relaxed compared to previous RCL cruises.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Just went to the Arenal beach and chilled out for the day.

Been here many times and done the castle and hoppa bus before. would recommend it.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

stayed on ship. been there done that, took the 2 hour bus ride with no toilet...

Rome is very crowded and full of beggars and hand bag sellers.

Barcelona

been to barca before and done the Nu Camp stadium tour. highly recommended but they only have 2 wheel chairs in case you need one for your party member. a lot of walking and steps.
