I like to look at the positive in every situation. So, I'll begin by complimenting those that I felt did an exceptional job: the crew that handled our luggage; the housekeeping staff; and the wait staff of the London dining room.
The following details pertain to the areas with which I was less than thrilled:
• The sales clerk/photographer, Boris. First, he told the customers in front of my husband and I to “make a decision and leave.” The following night, as we were steered through the beginnings of a tropical storm, he told us to “hurry up and take a picture before the boat flips over.” I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor, but given the situation (and Boris’ job as a customer service representative for the cruise line) I felt his comments to be in poor taste.
