As this was my partner and I's first cruise we were a little apprehensive at first and having read some of the reviews on this site more so. However we needn't have been as we had a great time. I think at 35 we were the youngest people on the ship apart from two or three other couples and one young family but that doesn't bother us at all. However on more than one occasion we were confused with the ship's entertainment crew !

However that been said you get out of life what you put in and the same goes for holidays. I think this holiday wouldn't be for everybody, and as I have no other cruising experience to compare it to I can only go by this experience.

Firstly the flight was pleasant enough, plenty of leg room for a short haul flight, but as the internet site hadn't allowed us to check in we were unable to sit together - not a problem for a sub three hour flight however. We arrived at Corfu and picked up our bags then handed them over to the coach driver and they were waiting for us when we reached the room. We were escorted to our room by a crew member and settled in.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside plus

We had paid for a deck 6/7 Outside room plus which meant our room was a little larger and had two windows. However they were single beds . The room was clean and had plenty of storage space including a wardrobe containing a (charged) safe, a fridge, kettle with tea and coffee and hair dryer. The en suite toilet contained a powerful shower and complementary shampoo and shower gel. The room was serviced twice a day with fresh towels and a turn down service with a chocolate left on the pillow.

Port Reviews

Mykonos

Beautiful, white washed buildings and clear blue waters. We took Quad bikes over to Ornos and the abandoned lighthouse offered amazing panoramas over the bay. Although quite pricey in the restaurants and bars this is quite well known of the island and not a surprise.
