My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the celebrity equinox. The ship was spotlessly clean. Crew very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are so efficient!! Disembarking the ship for excursions: people were given a time and place to meet on the ship. Staff assigned you a bus number, ensured you had your land tickets with you, escorted you off the boat and into your waiting transportation in a very timely manner. At one destination it rained shutting down the cable car that was to return us to the port which meant a long walk down to the port. The cruise line arranged for buses to pick up anyone who did not want or was unable to walk the distance to port. The information was relayed through the tour guides to each group. The ship also sent a crew member with each group. This person was not announced, just blended into the group. On one excursion a couple decided to stay at a café, did not wish to continue with the tour. They were to meet the group at this café at a particular time to get onto the bus taking us back to the cruise ship; however, when we arrived at the café later they were not there. The escort from the ship called the cruise ship who instructed her to attempt to locate the couple which she did. They had gone to another area. They would have missed the boat if the escort was not with us.

Our meals were excellent!!! We ate mostly in the dinning room for our evening meal and mostly in the buffet area for morning meals and snacks. Wonderful service, friendly staff who had good knowledge of each dish on the menu. One evening we had dinner with a couple who had very particular dinning restrictions. At the end of the meal the waiter went over the menu with the lady and ensured that her meal was ordered to fit her needs for the next day. The food excellent!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment on board. If we wanted to sit and enjoy some quiet music or be entertained by a band it was available. It seemed endless the choices of entertainment.
