DW and I took our second cruise with Celebrity in May 2015. 10 nights departing from Barcelona. Overall we had a fabulous time. Were there some issues? Absolutely.

We spent two nights in Barcelona prior to sailing. First time in Europe for both of us and we found that to be a wonderful city that we hope to get back to someday.

I would say the main bone of contention dealt with shore excursions. When we arrived in Salerno, Italy we were docked in a very industrial port. According to the tour guide on our bus in the afternoon the issue was not the fault of Celebrity or the land shore excursion operators, but rather with the port authorities. Basically there was a gate very close to the ship which the port would not allow to be opened. As a result the tour buses had to wend their way on a very circuitous roadway to exit the port. The port was jam packed with tractor trailer units transporting new automobiles. The result was sitting on a tour bus that didn't move for nearly 30 minutes! Not a pleasant experience. Ultimately it is Celebrity's responsibility! We also heard other passengers say they too had shore excursion issues.

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Plenty of room, adequate storage and a verandah that was perfect for relaxing as we left our various ports in the late afternoon.

Barcelona

This was my first trip to Europe and it could not have begun in a better city! Absolutely loved Barcelona! People were friendly, food was great and the beauty of the city was tremendous!
