I wanted to write this because of all the review's I had read that weren't so good about this ship. We have only cruised on Royal Caribbean twice before (Allure & Enchantment). I really wanted to try this ship even though we prefer smaller boats. I have to save that the Getaway was a great time.
Food: my husband is a person chef so we always go into a cruise thinking it will be mediocre. The food in the Main dinning rooms as well as buffets were amazing. We were shocked. We did try Teppanyaki and Ocean Blue. They were a notch above, but we really didn't need to spend the money.
Service: Everyone on this boat seemed happy and willing to please. The Cruise Director & Staff were fantastic. Nothing like RCI. These people ALL got involved including Joel (cruise Director)! Nice job NCL!
Cabin Review
Balcony Stateroom
Cabin: we had a standard Balcony. Nothing too exciting but plenty of room for 3 people. Anthony our Cabin Steward was great and made towel animals every night. Again something RCI doesn't do. Bathroom was a little bigger than the Balcony rooms on RCI.
Port Reviews
Miami
We did not take a tour but have to say the port is very fast and clean. pleasantly surprised. I have gone out of Ft. Lauderdale & Port Canaveral and I thought this would be the worse one, but it wasn't!
