Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Mid-Ship Inside

I have cruised at least 13 times and the Gem was so far the Largest Ship. I was a bit overwhelmed and I didn't feel like I got to enjoy the whole ship. However, I find that this cruise is very organized and offered a wide range of things to do and plenty of entertainment I did not participate in much because the staff was rather young and I am 63. I really did enjoy the food it was amazing but I did miss the lobster tail night that's always been on all of my other cruises. Embarkation was rather long so many people. The cabins were larger than on the Norwegian Spirit that was a welcomed surprise. The ship is first class. Very nice casino (hard to win) but had fun trying. We really enjoyed the cruise and anxiously waiting our next cruise probably with Norwegian. Information was the best, we always knew everything that was going on from the dailys and the announcements.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

The cabin was very nice one of the nicest I've stayed in. Loved the bathroom. I just always felt that my bedding was not as clean as it should've been. I didn't feel like complaining.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

We drove in from Maryland and used the parking lot for the Gem. We have cruised from New York a number of times always had good experiences. We did everything in our power to get there on time according to our paper work, late was not an option. The city around the port was a lot of construction and had to find ways to get around it.
