We chose the Epic, because it was a good value (terrific incentives, free drinks and 3rd passenger) and met our needs transporting my family around the Med to various ports for full day trips to some great places. If we were on a cruise, that the ship was the focus I would be more disappointed.

The embarkation process that I normally dread was the smoothest I have ever had. Our cabin was ready immediately and our luggage was delivered within the hour.

My son loved the Teen club and made friends from all over the world.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M3

What they call a mini suite was the worst cabin I ever had even before I could afford a balcony. The curved design made it odd to negotiate at night. The toilet area of the split bathroom was so tight it was barely usable. The bed was very short, so it is a good thing no one in the family is tall.

I am glad we did not spend much time in it.

Barcelona

Loved Barcelona. We spent a few days after the cruise enjoying it. Not as crowded, or expensive as other cities. Good food. As an added bonus the Barcelona football (soccer) team won the championship while we were there. It was great to be a part of the festive atmosphere even if I do not quite appreciate the sport.
