We were on the first Baltic cruise for the Magic and it was wonderful. This was our 5th Disney cruise and 2nd on the Magic. We did some excursions thru the ship and some hop on / off bus. The excursions in St Petersburg - the bus highlight tours was extra special because of our guide - the canal tour not so special also because of the guide but was OK. The activities onboard are too many to mention - we did the evening shows, some tastings, movies and way too much fantastic food. We really like the rotation seating and really enjoy having our servers move with us.
The ship was in excellent condition; the entertainment Broadway quality; having a movie theatre that showed first run Disney movies was great; the cabin was super (veranda). Embarkation and Disembarkation were well organized. I did miss having the 'Welcome family...." that we get on the Caribbean cruises when we came onboard. We just saw a special about the refurbishment and wished we had explored more.
Loved the room and the veranda. Being on the Baltic we didn't have the warm nights on the verandah but I did wrap up in a blanket to enjoy watching the scenery go by at Sweden.
We did the hop on/ off bus. It gave us a good introduction to Helsinki and, because of walking limitations, worked fine. There was some mix up - the bus didn't go completely around so it took us over an hour - and 2 buses to get back to the ship.
The hop on/ off bus gave us a good introduction to Stockholm and, because of walking limitations, worked fine. It would have been nice to explore the old city but we don't walk well on cobblestones.
