This cruise left a lot to be desired. This ship has not aged well nor has the refurbishment been a success. There was old carpet on the floors, there were strange smells throughout the ship, and more than one passenger had plumbing problems. It is time for a complete overhaul or the junk heap.

My room was on the second floor and I could hear the rattles and coughing of what I guess were the engines. The Captain was an outgoing and engaging man, the fool was excellent, and my room steward was wonderful. But my carpet was old and it was hard to open the closet door if you wanted to go in the bathroom. One day my faucet spewed some brown stuff and would not stop until I called guest services. After that I was afraid to rinse my mouth from that faucet.

I had come to this ship from the Quantum and this was a drastic change but that does not excuse RCL's commitment to excellence. I was totally disappointed.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

My cabin was obviously in need of re decoration. There was no fridge, Luckily I was a single passenger because the closets were outdated and small. The accordion doors were hard to open and there was rust around both windows. the carpet was old and the drawers need reconditioning they were hard to open.
