This is our 5th cruise with Carnival. We flew from Montreal to Fort Lauderdale and stayed at the Extended Stay which Edwin their chauffeur, made our stay very pleasant. We are a couple in early sixty. We choose this cruise (May 31, 2015) for the destinations. We are beach lovers.
The Conquest is a very nice ship: Paris theme decorated. Our balcony cabin was very comfortable and practical. Food was always good to exceptional from morning to evening. The service was excellent. Crew always do an outstanding job. We loved the reggae music on the pool deck, Caribbean themed music. We enjoyed the sea theater, under the stars with entertaining films every night.
In St-Maarten we took the taxi boat ($7/each for the day). We went shopping in the morning. Love the 5 Mr. Tablecloth's stores and went on the gorgeous beach in the afternoon. Soft white sand and calm waters bordered by coconut palms.. We saw 2 sea turtles while swimming; it was amazing.
Big and a small miror for the make up in the morning. Dressing gown.
Carnival is very organized. A lady from Carnival made us wait till 11h30 before getting on the boat. She was great; she sang, talks to us, made us laugh
Shopping is great. Beach was wonderful. Nice white sand. Water was calm and warm. People are friendly. Music with a band. South Friar's Bay beach better than Cockeshell. And there is no rocks.
Better than 4 years ago. Not much rocks on the water. You should go see the surf at Margaritaville. Music was good to hear. Water was warm. There were 3 nice and calm dogs
Shopping is great, but no much time to. Beach was wonderful. Nice white sand. Water was warm and waves strong. People are friendly. Wish we had more time to go shopping.
