We arrived a day early and took in a show- we stayed at a little boutique hotel in the Financial district- called The Gild Hotel- I will stay there again- really wonderful!

We loved this ship! Our room was perfect, and having the UBP saved us a lot of money. The food was quite good, and I really liked NCL's freestyle dining. We did eat at Cagney's and Timpanyaki's once each, and really enjoyed the meals.

The only negative about the meals is this- The Uptown Grill has "custom" burgers during the day- it seemed that they were completely unprepared for the amount of people they served. First, you wait in line for 10-15 minutes. Then you are told that it will be 20-45 minute before your burger is delivered to you... I will say this- the burgers are exquisite! REALLY good! But not 45 minute- good, if you know what I mean! Suggestion- if you really want that burger (they are really good!), and you don't want to go to deck 15 for a Garden Cafe burger (only 1 deck away, btw); I suggest that you place your order- and right next to the burger area is a custom salad station- have a salad and grab a seat. Wait the 20-45 minutes it will take- and enjoy! You will hear all sorts of interesting NY and NJ accents complaining about waiting for the burger! Chuckle to yourself as you stuff leafy-green goodness into your mouth, thankful that you read this review!
