We were brought on this cruise by two Diamond Members who paid over $10k for the three cabins we had for this cruise. There were six of us in our party.
Left Baltimore on a Saturday and started out OK, by Monday things started getting bad, events cancelled, buffet closed, all staff diverted to wiping down and cleaning ship.
Staff stopped cleaning cabins after Monday, only changed sheets and towels, we had to clean our own bathrooms. Every surface on the ship was covered in sticky cleaning solution that was never wiped down. Felt like staying in some run-down no-tell-motel. By the end of the week you could not even see reflections in any of the mirrors.
Cabin was nice.
Problem was it was only cleaner for the first two nights we were on the ship. We had to clean it ourself after that.
Floors were not vacumned after the 2nd day.
This is the port we were looking forward to as we were told so much about it. We planned this to be our beach day and to relax.
Unfortunately, we never got to experience this or have that beach day. Port was cancelled and we were told we would have another sea day.
Due to captain ending the cruise early and cruising so fast back to Baltimore, we could not even be outside on the last sea day. Pools were closed on the ship due to traveling so fast.
Getting on the ship was fairly easy, did take a long time to go through the lines and there was not much communication.
Was very difficult for one of our passengers who walks with a cane because there was no place to sit down, you had to stay in the line or loose your place.
