This was our second cruise and first on royal caribbean on Alaska cruise and it came up trumps. Last year we sailed on Hurtgruten from Bergen to Tromso, which was very good on scenery but that can not be called cruise ship, it was more like coastal ferry.
This time around we splurged a bit and went for Junier suit on deck 10. It was well worth it. The stateroom is very spacious with comfy bed and large seating area. There is good bathroom with tub and quite spacious. The balcony is large but honestly in early may you can sit there when ship is motion with cold breeze coming in. We made good use of while it was docked to sit out and have coffee. It also was very good for viewing Hubbard glacier when ship took us close to it.
Another big plus for us vegetarian from India, there were always something for us be it for breakfast, lunch or formal dinner. We had very good experience in the foram dining room Cascade and the service was excellent. Windjammer is good for brekfast and quick lunch. The spread is good and service was very nice.
Very well appointed cabin with good size bath with tub and faily large balcony
we borded at this port and obviously could not have taken any excursion. but the entire experience of getting on the ship was very good, and quick. the miment we reached the stateroom, the luggage arrived
