Just returned from the 4 day sailing on the Victory. As stated the ship is dated. Carpeting, and room furnishing could definitely use an update. For the most part staff was courteous, with a few exceptions. I wanted to go the Serenity Pool and I was looking around the Spa asked them where it was, and they sent me to the Adult pool, on the other end of the ship and two decks down, when the Serenity Pool was right above me. This happened again when asking another crew member, when I was sent to the adult pool, where the serenity pool was. Serenity pool is nice but up high on deck 12, and not quiet since it is above the main pool, where the dj and all the events are held, so much for Serenity.

Lines for the buffet are long, if you just want burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and fries there is a buffet at the adult pool and line is never long. If you want pizza the line is also long, but well worth the wait, try right after the lunch hour, and it's much shorter.

Wait staff in the dining room is fair at best we waited an hour and forty minutes for dinner to arrive after having ordered. If you want a good waiter ask for Hashbon, he was great. After two bad waiters first. Food was fair, but as on most cruise lines you can order as much as you would like. There is no speciality restaurant onboard, you can however order filet, and lobster any night for an additional fee of $20. Lobster and Prime Rib are however offered once during cruise and although separate entrees you can certainly order one of each and there you have your surf and turf. Every evening the wait staff put on a little show, cute but cheesey. Also know with any-time dining you can not choose to sit with others, you can only sit with who you came with. I was traveling with my teen-age daughter, and her got to her that she had to eat and only talk to mom each night.

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

We stayed in cabin 7270 an ocean suite. Room was fairly large two nice size closets, nice couch and small chair both dated. The cabin did have a dressing area that was nice and a separate bathroom. Note if you have any mobility issues the shower is also a jacuzzi tub so it is a very large step over to get into the shower. There is also No Helping Handle so it makes it a bit tricky.
