This was my first cruise on Norwegian. I have been on 13 cruises before this one. I have to say, I have never been so nickeled and dimed so much on a cruise. There are 5 free restaurants. Of the 5, 3 have the exact same menu, just a different room. Service is very slow in the restaurants. Waiters are not that great, they know they already have your tip, and they know chances are they won't see you again on the cruise. It was impossible to get reservations, if you don't book beforehand, you will end up with a 5:30 or 9:30 eating time. My thoughts have always been that the point of the cruise is that you've already paid for the food. Not on this boat, to get good food you must pay more. The other free restaurant was an Irish place by the casino, the name escapes me, the food was horrible, and trust me I talked to a lot of people on this boat and everyone felt the same way.

Getting on the ship is very easy and very orderly. Getting off is a different experience. Your basically dropped off on a street with cops screaming at you to move. Okay, well 4000 people just walked off and we're trying to get our rides back to the airports, and it was a total nightmare. I liked Bermuda. Very nice people. Oh and the big thing, my 2 daughters and I got food poisoning the last night…beware of the ice cream cookie sandwich.

More than likely I will go on another cruise, just not with Norwegian, and definitely not out of Manhattan.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

My room was a little on the small side, but our room steward was excellent.
