We spent 15 wonderful days on Legend of the Seas going through the Panama Canal. Where to start, the cabins are a bit smaller because the ship is smaller for the canal. We were able to store all our belongings, no problem. The ship is an older ship, so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles the newer ones have, but it's perfect for the long cruise. Our steward was awesome. Thank you Roger Ruiz for a great cabin experience. The ports of call were Cartegena & Colon Panama, we enjoyed a nice hop on hop off tour. The best port was Puntarenas, Costa Rica! Beautiful and clean. For the best tour, use Syltravel Day Tours, less expensive than the ship tour. Harold Guidocampos was our guide. The van held six passengers comfortably. Harold made Costa Rica come alive for us, he was so friendly and knowledgeable about his country. We won't forget him.
The food was good and plentiful on the ship, but they do close the buffet early, for late snacks you have to use the small cafe. As for entertainment , the singers and dancers aboard were great! We enjoyed the shows very much. The other entertainment was spotty.
I wouldn't recommend the wifi as it doesn't work well and is expensive.
Cabin was small, but adequate for our needs. It does need a it of upgrading.
