We were on the may 6 cruise. Loved it! The ship was big and beatiful. They had a lot to do and the shows were fantastic. We met so many nice people. The ship was sold out but never felt overcrowded. We never had a problem getting a seat at the shows. We made reservations for the ice show online weeks before the cruise. Same for reservations for my time dining. The first few nights had a line for people with reservations but that got better as time went on. Our waiter and assistant were great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room attendent was superb.
The food overall was pretty good. My only complaint was breakfast in the windjammer buffet and breakfast room service. It was really quite terrible. If we would of woken earlier we may have made it to the main dining room for breakfast but since we stayed up so late, waking early wasn't happening. We eventually just skipped breakfast and ate lunch in main dining rm. We ate at portifino one night. The first night of the cruise the my time dining room line was extremely long and disorganized. They offered us half price dining that night at portofino. How could we resist! We had a great dinner! We enjoyed lunch and dinner in the main dining room. We had no problem eating on the cruise.
The coffee on the promanade was horrible! Other than that we loved the promande. We spent a good bit of time on the promande. We got an inside cabin facing the promanade. It was pretty cool but we enjoy cabins facing the outside better for the sun light. It was very dark in the room since it was technically an inside cabin. This made waking up even harder.
We were midship in the middle of promenade. We didn't hear any noise from promenade except during 70's parade which was short lived and early. We had great views. Our location was quiet. Long walk to elevators but we didn't mind. The room had alot of storage. It was fine for 2 people. Make sure to close curtains when getting dressed since cabins across the promenade can see right in.
