We had to move cabins after being woken several times during the night by crew working, the second cabin was also noisy day and night but not as bad. Heard many people complaining about noise overnight. Three cabins near ours were flooded from kitchens above on different nights during the voyage.
Most food in the non waiter service restaurant (The Lido) is served by staff and this must help with hygiene and cross contamination. However there is no queuing system it’s whoever shouts loudest gets served, there are barriers to define sections but for example at breakfast if you want toast, poached eggs and bacon you would have to queue at three different places. The four times we saw roast leg of pork on the menu in the Lido it was very rare with blood flowing out of it when carved.
The Rotterdam restaurant was superb, we were however on a table for eight people one night and it took nearly three hours before all the food had been served. It seemed the more people at the table the longer the service took. After that we asked for a table for two or if this was not available a table for four and service was very slick.
