Ship ran like a military exercise and was very smooth. Lots of food and doing the Greek Islands there was a lot to do and see in terms of culture. Was my first cruise so everything was very new and exciting. Mostly old people on this line. Fun meeting strangers for dinner. Could not imagine wanting to repeat the experience (cruising) as would be bored silly second time around. Have decided this is mostly for the unadventurous with little sense of imagination. Good value compared with cost of hotels and taxis.

Anytime dining is best otherwise you are regimented to time . Only downside is that you are seated with strangers but that to me was a plus. Instant friends!

Beware of the government sponsored carpet scam in Turkey. erdogon forces all ship tour groups to compulsory visit a carpet factory at every port. If you open your mouth and ask the price they squirrel you away to a private room and give you the hard sell. The average is about 1000 euros but on the streets the gypsies will sell you the Chinese imitation for 20.

Cabin Review

Balcony

clean slightly cramped. Hardly ever used the balcony so probably wasted money here. Beware you are forbidden electric kettles. Pain having to climb 5 decks to Bring back coffee from the cafeteria but good exercise . Memo: next time bring dvd player and some movies.
