First of all the Viking Star is an absolutely beautiful ship. The various areas where you can sit, relax, read or converse are numerous and all are enticing and relaxing. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more polite or more attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time aboard. We have taken a number of cruises but this was our first Viking cruise and we are booked for another cruise which should speak for itself. Our room was large enough for our needs as other than sleeping we were either touring or just enjoying afternoon tea in the Wintergarden area or grabbing a latte from the bar area. I must include that the tours we took, all included but one, had absolutely excellent tour guides who were extremely knowledgable. They some of the best guides we have ever experienced so kudos to Viking. All in all, we had a lovely holiday, saw lots, learned lots and we will return to Viking and what they offer in the future.
