This was our second Carnival Line Cruise. The last one was in 1990. We have been on a lot of cruises with other lines. This Ship was a disappointment. It was an older ship and smelled in different areas of the ship. It could of been cleaner. Also entertainment was only OK.. We remember when ships had shows that had live bands and vegas shows with different themes. Well this was not the case. The only show we liked was Epic Rock. Also the shows only lasted 30 minutes. In the past they go for one hour. A lot of cutbacks too. No more candies on your pillow and no toiletries. Our cabin was good. Clean and in a good location compared to other reviews we have read. We were on the main deck 2 and in the center of the ship. Our steward was ok. However we had no beach towels in our room and no room service menu. Had to get them ourselves. Waiter was again ok. A little slow but ok. Not over and above.

Food was good at dinner and breakfast. However when coming back from an excursion, it seemed all the buffet and food on lido deck were closed. The only thing was hot dogs. When coming back if you want a snack, they should have something opened. In the past they did.

The ports were the best part of the cruise. Carnival I hope does better in the future. Next cruise will be with another line.

Good location. Clean very well. Liked the towels in all the animal shapes. Miss chocolates on pillows and no toiletries. No noise and good sleeping.
