Our cruise started off with a letter telling us what time to report. We were there at the time given to have the cruise line employes unaware of the letters. Then we were bussed to a shopping area and was given onboard 15.00 for our inconvenient of the extra wait to embark while they were doing some repairs to the ship. The embarkation was flawless for us, but I was in a cast, so they treated me very well.

Everything went flawless for the next couple days except our dinner was extremely slow being served to us (. Never left the Lincoln dining area under 10:00pm.). But we were just enjoying our traveling companions and conversation so we were ok with that. On a few occasions we had to ask for refills but we let that go. Our first disappointment was Belieze. We arranged an excursion very carefully so we could snorkel with friends and still have time for Belieze city (just long enough for souvenirs) . Everything was late getting start by about an hour so we asked the cruise director if we would still have time to do Belieze city and we were told NO. We did our snorkel excursion.( it was absolutely beautiful and the excursion crew was wonderful to us and very helpful in any possible way needed) we returned to our ship at 3 and was discouraged to even try to go into Belieze. Not enough time. So we took that and just went back to our cabins to rest. Our ship was scheduled to leave at 5pm originally ( as far as we were told) but to our dismay we laid across our bed and watched 4 boats (full with people) tender in til 6;00pm, so we were knocked out out of Belieze City. Then we went to dinner on a casual elegant night we weren't aware of, but we still dressed nice, although my husband was in khaki shorts. He was stopped by the maitre D to be told to go change his pants. That would have not been a problem BUT an African American man was allowed through (right in front of us) with silk ball shorts on, couple latin men were allowed through in Blue jean shorts. By that time we were watching. And half of the dining area had on shorts, even our traveling companions had on shorts. My husband was PULLED out of line to go change. He was the only person told to go change. He was so embarrassed and it really put a damper on his cruise. We have contacted Carnival Cruise and we were only offered an apology and a 25$$ on board credit . Sorry this is so long but I want people to know if you have a problem you are ignored. That's the way we feel. Unable to get an explanation as to why my husband was the only person pulled out of line to go change. I believe we are being ignored now . Our excursions were wonderful and most crew we encountered on the ship were very nice. But it just takes ONE negative incident to ruin the whole vacation ...
